Where I Am Now 0 ▲ Interdependent Thoughts 1 hour ago · Life · hide · 0 comments This week it’s been a year since my long time friend and business partner Frank died. And it’s been two years and three months since I realised I was very burned out. And it’s been four years since that process of taking on too much and not resting started, only realising much later that it was in part because Frank was already ill. This week I am starting to consider myself working normally again. This week, now that summer has ended, and school restarted, I am starting to participate again in the internal processes of my company. I had let those drop for the most part last year September (although I was still involved on the financial side). I am grateful to my business partners and team that they gave me all that space. It feels a bit strange, as I haven’t interacted with colleagues on a daily basis for a year, so it’s like entering a group that also has to rethink how they’re going to make a place for me, and me trying to understand what they’re talking about as I’ve been out of… No comments yet.
