Using my RSS reader to find travel recommendations

Admittedly that sounds a bit weird but using the people / blogs / resources you are following in your RSS reader is actually a great filter for narrowing down the search on a given topic. I already value these people's opinions I sometimes remember that person x wrote about topic y I'm planning a city trip right now and I was wondering what people I follow in Miniflux (My RSS reader of choice) are writing about that topic so I've set up an MCP server that can talk to the Miniflux API. Once that was ready I just connected it to my Hermes Agent and asked it to summarize which places in London are interesting. As Miniflux doesn't have embeddings or a good vector search the agent is just issuing simple searches like "London" to get all items that could be relevant from Miniflux. Once it has a bunch of candidates it can do deeper research on that specifically and also follow the links mentioned in the feed item.
