Day 199: Free Sports

2026-08-24Hello!I got in early to secure front-row seats to an all-day practice session between multiple tennis players at the US Open. They were free.The first athlete I saw was Jessica Pegula from the US, who practiced for about an hour and a half before the next session started.I saw well-known tennis players such as Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic, and I wish I brought better gear to the event if I knew security would let me by! As it stands, I could get some action shots if I was lucky, but no close portraits of professional quality, which is alright.I need to step out of my comfort zone and get back into more creative photography. A trip to the city did me well, but I shouldn't need to go to a great location to get great photos. The search continues. Thank you for visiting this blog!
