Goodbye August 1 ▲ wry writer 57 minutes ago · Life · hide · 0 comments Well, here we are at the end of August, with a whole month of blogging under my belt, not one day missed. Which is, in and of itself, a miracle. It’s been a busy month, one full of special anniversaries, a few emergencies, and a lot of walks out and about to take photos for Stray Pixels, my photo blog. It’s also been a month of highs and los (due to those anniversaries and emergencies) which when all is said and done, is life in a nutshell. I’m here, I’m writing and I’ve had another year of life. One I may not have had if it hadn’t been for some sharp eyed ER doctor spotting something was terribly wrong with me last year. This month’s emergencies were all centred around my mother in law, bless her tiny cotton socks. She is 80 plus and does everything slowly, but can get very animated and a little ultra focused on small things all too easily these days. Such as hearing a weird dripping noise in the bathroom.
