Many athenians have returned from their august break with tans so extreme as to defy science. Sad that there’s only another five months of the greek summer to go before it gets cold again. The heat did not prevent me from going out for food and drinks four times. Quite a social week after the big social previous weekend in Nafpaktos. On wednesday I met my pangrati pals for a few late beers in Aerostato and on friday a handful of other friends in Rubaiyat Kafeneio in ano patisia. one fun thing about living in athens is that sometimes you’ll find yourself in aristotle’s neighbourhood when walking home from the pub. Aristotle’s Lyceum Both new joints for me, both very nice, both times I was introduced to new and lovely people.
