For context: One of the last things David Lynch released in the years leading up to his death were short weather reports that coincided with the COVID-19 pandemic: David Lynch’s Weather Report. These videos have since achieved cult status online, as has just about everything he’s ever done. They’ve been compiled into a YouTube playlist and are also available as a bot on the Fediverse, which automatically publishes these reports. Although the quote above comes from another video dated 21 August 2020, that doesn’t matter; it should be a credo for every new Monday (which is why I usually repost it on this day of the week).
