Today it rained, I had equipment issues, and we saw “nothing good” but any day diving is better than day without diving. I’m on a short dive trip with a friend, diving the Blue Heron Bridge off Phil Foster Park by West Palm Beach, Florida. It is the least glamorous dive spot, literally under a bridge; not a cool suspension bridge, a flyover. But somehow through some magic some of the coolest critters show up here. I’ve seen some truly amazing things here, today was not one of those days. The day started out with great weather, bright sunny skies. But it started raining the moment we set foot in the water. Rain under water looks really neat but nothing else looks neat when you have no light. wet on wet But with the rain it wasn’t that pretty, the visibility was poor, we found nothing in the grass or anything we hadn’t seen a bunch before. I also experienced equipment issues because my secondary air supply which is also my Buoyancy Control Device (BCD) inflator started free-flowing…
