Subpoena Time? 0 ▲ Pants On Fire 25 minutes ago · Politics · hide · 0 comments Well friends, we made it through what is theoretically the first half of Bill's criminal trial (it was scheduled to last 10 days; my gut tells me it might go over that, but then again, maybe not - it's not like the Crown is going to have a lot of questions for Bill's defence witnesses, I'd imagine). Part of me wishes that I could watch the whole thing go down, but the rest of me is glad that I can't, because I value what is left of my sanity. I know that there are still some Crown witnesses to appear, and following that, Bill will have the opportunity to call his own witnesses to the stand (or to attempt to, anyway - more on that in a second). I've heard some rumours about who those witnesses might be, but I have no idea if the rumours are true. For one thing, Bill lies like a rug. For another, at least one of those potential witnesses is Steve Lesperance, and last I heard, Bill and Steve were trying to blackmail each other - I can't imagine that Steve would make a particularly strong… No comments yet.
