Updating PSP Custom Firmware

In the recent days YouTube decided to put some Playstation Portable videos in my feed and it got me wondering in which box mine was collecting dust and what's the current state of custom firmwares. After all these years I still find that the hardware is feeling very solid, modern and not dated at all. If the screen would be higher resolution you'd not notice it's a console released in 2004. Turns out there's still a lot of active development on projects like the ARK CFW (Custom Firmware), the last commit on that one was 2 days ago. I decided to install the latest version and get some SNES emulator going which was all very easy, instead of digging through forums for hours I of course just asked ChatGPT and it guided me through it and all the files I needed were on https://www.pspunk.com/psp-cfw/.
