This article about favicons is excellent and allowed me to reduce the amount of non-essential icons I'm generating on Favicons to Go. There's another open source app to replace Logitech Options - OpenLogi. I haven't tried it but it's good to have options. Terence Eden's ActivityBot has come a long way since I last looked at it.
