Let Death Take an Empty Body 0 ▲ Living Kindfully 37 minutes ago · Life · hide · 0 comments This month is the Hungry Ghost Festival. Many would have ceremonies to commemorate the family members who had passed away. As I observed the gifts, food and ceremonial items displayed on the table, I wondered what is it like on the other side of life? What will the deceased do if they are given a second chance in life? How many had died without having any of their dreams full filled? I am afraid of dying. I am afraid that I have not lived the life that I want to live. I want a life of creativity and service. To create something that can help someone and service to those who are in need. While doing both, I can also let my family live a comfortable life. I am still filled with ideas and energy. Writing, doing business and charity is my outlet. I will not stop until my last breath. While death comes to claim my body, I want to tell death that it can only claim an empty body. I have given it all to life. There is nothing left. No comments yet. Log in to reply on the Fediverse. Comments will appear here.
