This week’s review, before I stuff the next two months with as much autumnal femdom I can find, is about a rise in power of a character the author described as a “Shadow Mommy”. It’s also a complete blind pull, with no internet recommendation. I bought it at a craft fair in Spokane, which despite the name of these kinds of events, now typically involves two or three different authors hawking their books, amongst the usual crochet critters, handmade soaps and thrift flips you would expect. These days, being shamelessly dedicated to my mission to find and curate more femdom, if someone is selling romance, I just brazenly ask if it has any. Since McAteer is promoting the book with images of the female protagonist in a clinch pose against the bound, naked male protagonist, there was at least some hints it might.
