I started out with “thank god its”, thinking auto-correct would handle the missing apostrophe in “it’s”. How quaint of me to think that. The latest version of iOS 26, in all its mediocrity, decided the more appropriate correction should be to “Thank gordita”. I’ve never mentioned a gordita in my life. I’m still leaning really hard on this iPhone (and iPhone 16 Pro) being my last. I miss buttons and I really miss Apple’s focus on quality. Back in the early days of iPhone, like when I upgraded from my original iPhone to iPhone 3G, I did so because I wanted to move from the original cell technology of GRPS and EDGE to 3G, not because the phone was failing or feeling sluggish or anything. This iPhone 16 Pro, which I purchased new when they came out, feels like the most aged iPhone I’ve owned since iPhone became a thing. I was told it was “designed for Apple Intelligence”, but whenever that feature(?) hits the world, my iPhone 16 Pro won’t be… No comments yet. Log in to reply on the Fediverse.
