Your Kind Actions May Have Terrible Consequences

Lately, I have been planning to raise funds to hire an English tutor for the Mon Refugee school as I do not have the time to teach. As I was sharing my thoughts to other volunteers, I was warned that I should discuss this with the president first. There are already several full-time paid teachers in the school. They do not have enough English teachers; therefore, they asked for volunteers to teach. My intention to bring in a professional teacher is good but it may also create animosity between the teachers. This is something that I should avoid at all costs. Not all good intention will generate good outcome. It is a mindful lesson that I have to keep remind myself. I lack the macro vision of the school and could have caused damage to its internal dynamics. This incident also made me think? Have I said or done anything even though is well intended but have caused severe damage to other people's life? Or may have hurt someone's ego?
