The Weekly Roundup - Progress!

Been a busy week, but it’s been a worthwhile one. First more poor GP who went a little pale when I told him I hadn’t been taking my metoprolol for a week. And I’m not going back on it. It’s been causing the hot sweats I’ve been trying to get rid of for YEARS now. Then the next day, I had a PICC line inserted. It’s the fifth one I’ve had in a long line of…lines. Four Hickmanns and now five PICCs. My arm is currently bruised and itchy but it’s a small price to pay. Friday After a retched stay in a hotel, I wake up bright and early for my infusion. Rituximab is what they put me on, nice and slowly at first but not as slowly as it took them to get to this point. My mum is so angry they let this go on as long as they did but I’m just happy to be out of pain. Mostly. Yesterday I had no pain at all. And today I had a bit in my hips. But we’re still headed in the right direction. It’s still progress! So for at least the next four weeks, I’ll have be having a dose at the hospital. Gaming…
