We here at MPorcius Fiction Log have seen fit to defy poor eyesight, bad memory, and the indifference of an uncaring universe to shoulder a monumental task--the quest to read at least one piece of fiction from each issue of Weird Tales, the essential speculative fiction magazine edited early on by Edwin Baird and in its most celebrated days by Farnsworth Wright and then Dorothy McIlwraith. Each time I am able to cross a year off the list, having blogged about at least one story from each issue of the Unique Magazine with a cover date for that year, I put up one of these links posts that, first, lists each of the years finished thus far, and then, all the stories from that year which we have written about. Today I can report that we have wrapped up our exploration of 1925, a year in which twelve issues edited by Wright hit the newsstands and were devoured by the speculative fiction fans of the Jazz Age. 1923… No comments yet.
