Where Has August Gone?

I haven’t posted for a while, it’s been a busy few weeks. In a nutshell, It’s been my birthday and my wedding anniversary, my eldest’s GCSE results revealed, and we went for a short break. My 46th BirthdayNot a milestone or one I’m generally happy to celebrate. Like last year, I felt a little tinge of sadness at getting older, but my gifts of an enormous biscoff cheesecake and salted caramel vodka helped ease the sting. Then we went for a slap-up meal at my favourite restaurant. Everything was delicious, but I especially look forward to pudding and the Texas Trash Pie was worth waiting for: 9th Wedding AnniversaryAlso not a milestone, but can’t believe next year will be a decade of marriage!
