Walkthrough for Bellingcat's 'Royal Company' challenge

Hi, welcome to this write-up for the 78. Royal Company challenge from Bellingcat. Here you can see my thought processes and what steps I took to get to the answer, but of course there are many different ways of reaching the same results. First lookWe've received another selfie from GeoPeter, one in which he is posing with a wooden statue. It's our task to find the name of the street behind him. I first looked closely at the picture before starting my search. This could help me get some context for what I'm looking for. I made a list for myself and noted: The statue has a cross on it, maybe it's a country where Christianity is prevalent. The statue has several symbols (crown, snake, ball, book, two shields). There's a plague on the statue, but the text is too blurry to read. There are multiple cars visible in the background. The license plates look like they're from the EU.
