Rain, finally

There are several reasons why I always choose to work during the summer. One is that I have a flexible job. Another is that I’d rather take time off in the winter and travel somewhere warmer. The third reason is just as important: to escape the summer frenzy. It’s as if people go crazy for a couple of months here in Sweden. Everything must be squeezed in, not a single day can go to waste, party mode 24/7. As the saying goes: Swedish summer is the best day of the year. That’s why I appreciate days like this, with a steady “last one to leave the party” rain. No messages about sitting at some outdoor café or checking out some event. Just peace and quiet, accompanied by the soothing sound of falling raindrops. Aaaahh...
