An Evening at Lovestruck Books

So Queen Victoria’s a vampire and the Devil wants to visit a church bazaar…That’s a glimpse into the world of Demons and Democracy. It’s a funny and spicy book, with a wonderful cast of characters, some human but mostly not. My friend Megan Frampton wrote it, and author Felicia Davin and I helped celebrate its release recently at Lovestruck Books in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Yes, Cambridge, in Harvard Square. There, once, years ago, when I entered bookstores and asked where the Romance section was, eyebrows went up and lips curled, as though I had committed a vulgarity. Well, times have changed, and Harvard Square now has its very own all-Romance bookstore.We had a lovely time talking about Demons and Democracy, the writing process, and other things. As you’ll note, we had a nicely mixed group, with men for once not underrepresented! Felicia kept things moving with interesting questions, there was quite a bit of laughter, and our audience asked a few at the end, with more laughter…
