it's almost the end of august and i haven't blogged all month! honestly, i haven't really felt much desire to, which i already kind of mentioned in my post last month. between heatwaves, my dad's dementia, and the general state of the world online and offline, i've been staying as disconnected from everything as much as possible and trying to find enjoyment in a more local and quiet existence. in my spare time, i've mostly been watching jdramas, listening to music, and sketching instead of doing things that require me to plug in and be connected to the larger world. i did spend some time making my selections for the tiny awards. it was hard because there were so many good sites! in the end, i selected sites that required multiple visits to truly appreciate and to absorb so my picks leaned more towards denser ones rather than the kind that are more like single use/single purpose (but still interesting and amusing) web app type sites. i don't know if any of my picks made it onto the…
