Compared to blogs listing post links via pagination, I strongly prefer blogs listing all post links in one convenient list. Whether that list is separated into many different sub-lists or not, it makes finding compelling post titles and navigating to their pages so much easier. Better that than spending unnecessary time and thinking as I click or tap through a series of pages that I didn't find necessary. I can understand pagination in cases where post links come with images and context, more so if the images have heavy file sizes. However, I don't really get it for the minimalist list items I see around these parts. It doesn't take long at all to load a simple list of posts and their publication dates, even one with hundreds or thousands of entries. While pagination can make for better scanning through creating short and manageable groups, I don't really vibe with it. If groupings are wanted, it can be achieved by approaches such as yearly, monthly, or even themed sub-lists. More…
