Day 196: Cat Tax

2026-08-21Hello!Pets keep me busy. I didn't have to worry too much about them pooping in the wrong spots or breaking fragile objects, but they need exercise and food. They're also curious little fuckers.I'm not answering whether I'm a cat person or a dog person — there's a satisfactory answer in Tom Scott's comparison video of the Western world versus his audience — dogs are definitely easier for me, but cats are cuter! Simple as that.The internet loves cats. Hence the cat tax: a gesture of goodwill between internet posters (or a way to garner attention, I haven't decided which).For me, I've shared around cute images of pets when I have nothing better to do, or nothing better to say.
