A new flag for Massachusetts

Paul Kafasis over at One Foot Tsunami reminded me that I’d love to visit Massachusetts one day, and that I can never spell Massachusetts. The state recently accepted ideas for a redesigned state flag, something we badly need in New South Wales too. I mean, what even is this? At least the Canadian provinces with the British red duster have something Canadian on them: But I digress. He shared some of his favourite examples, and I agree this is rather fetching: I’m also rather partial to this submission purely on aesthetic grounds, though it feels more like a Chilean forestry commission: Flags are simple, but hard.
