I saw a lot of people posting daily this past month while I struggled just to come up with weekly posts. Generally speaking I just don’t feel like I’m all that interesting. I also noticed a lot of people putting together weekly recaps and I’ve decided to steal that idea, but make it monthly instead, again, because I’m not that interesting. So as I wrap up my Blaugust for this year I’m gonna do it by attempting to start a new monthly review. Blogging about blogging makes me feel uncomfortable, so let’s jump straight in… Reading I finished up Knife of Dreams, book eleven of the Wheel of Time series and also the last book written by the original author. Brandon Sanderson took over the writing duties after Robert Jordan’s passing using a wealth of notes and ideas that Jordan had left behind. There has definitely been an expected style shift in The Gathering Storm but overall I haven’t found it to be too awful. I much prefer the tonal change to the alternative of never getting to see the…
