MapQuest made a fun little thing in the wake of the Lake Ontario debacle and you should go play with it. If it looks familiar to you, it's because you probably remember when MapQuest did the same thing during the Gulf of Mexico debacle. I never thought I'd live long enough to see the American empire fall, but now that it's happening, I'm left cold. This shit isn't exciting, interesting, or dramatic. It isn't a series of little skirmishes and battles amidst a larger and broader conflict. This is just middle school bullies blowing up frogs with m80s: sad, dumb, and pointlessly cruel.
