When folks talk to me, I often get a sense that they want advice or maybe an opinion. They seldom ask.I often give an advice or an opinion before being asked.Unasked advice and opinions often come across as insulting and arrogant.My bad. My Solution? Let them ask; let them give you permission to respond. And patiently wait for that permission. Recently, my old computer gave up the ghost and made me get a new one.Brand new, I gave Microsoft Windows 11 Pro another shot. Mind you; I’ve been rockin’ in the linux universe for months and missed some of dem ol’ PC programs.Was MS winning me back? MS decided (again and with a vengeance!) to cram Ads and AI down my throat.They would not let me turn off the machine without updating.Every ‘update’ compromised my customization efforts. Last week, MS decided to move my music files. From my music folder to ‘their’ music folder. They did it in a very haphazard way.
