The second is the Canal View, the first issue of which was ten years ago, that leans to the moralist-secular “Spark” faction of city politics, and is famous for printing outright lies.The Boswel family, one of the great Admiralty families of the city, own both the Messenger and the View, thanks to the cunning business acumen of the late Radal Boswel, deceased father of the current family head, Hana Boswel. All other papers are printed in a basement or by a union, and don’t often have influence beyond their local district.
