Miykon Vintage Tank-Style Watch Introduction This is possibly one of the stranger watches in my collection. It was a total impulse buy on Amazon. It has some unique features that are completely right, and some that are completely wrong. Despite several things about it being wrong, I bought it once I learned the interesting story of the company behind the watch. Likes and Dislikes So, I have to say, I didn’t completely catch on to this watch when I first saw it. I knew that it was IP Plated (it says it clearly on the dial). Had I been looking more closely, it should have been obvious that the case is zinc or brass. But, I was fascinated by this watch. It has a classic / vintage style, and yet it has the hallmarks of being a modern watch. One of the things that I have found fascinating with tank-style watches is the mistake in the numbers. What mistake, you might wonder? Simply, the number “4” — in Roman numerals it should be “IV” and not “IIII” 1. And yet all watchmakers seem to copy…
