Lately, I am raising funds for one year worth of English tuition fees for the Mon Refugee School. As I collect funds, I would randomly ask the donner whether they have bought their parents any meals or gave them any money lately. If the answer is yes, I ask how much? If the amount is higher than the money donated for the school, I will accept the full amount. If the amount is lower than the money for the school, I will ask the donner to match the difference for their parents. If the parents have never received anything, I return the money and ask the donner to give it to their parents. Obviously, I will never know whether they are telling me the truth. And why I have to create so many barriers for myself and the school? I always feel that charity begins from home. All parents deserve the best from their children.
