LEGO’s Got A New SUPER MARIO Line, And It Looks GREAT

CapnRex101 / Brickset: The LEGO Group has revealed the latest LEGO Super Mario sets, featuring new LEGO minifigures of beloved characters, at gamescom in Cologne. The new LEGO minifigures mark a refreshed LEGO Super Mario theme, newly centred on creative LEGO minifigure roleplay action. The news that minifigures will now form part of the LEGO Super Mario range was first teased as part of MAR10 Day celebrations earlier in the year across social media channels, alongside the news that the sets were coming in 2027. These sets look fantastic — I recommend clicking through to see the whole line, if you’re at all intrigued — but I’m 99% sure they’re going to have trouble keeping the Racing With Mario set (pictured above) on shelves, it’s a pretty iconic set with a decent price. In fact, the whole lineup is decently priced, starting at $10, and going to $100 on the high end. I admire what they tried to do with the interactive Mario sets, but oh boy, this is so much better.
