Apple IIɢꜱ adventures continue

A couple of weeks ago I wrote about detailing how it’d taken me five attempts to get a working Apple IIɢꜱ motherboard! Everything from failed deliveries to outright fraud had me convinced the universe didn’t want Clara and I getting one of these machines. True, I think the Atari ST is far more interesting, but I used these briefly in school, damn it! Well about a week ago I saw an Apple IIɢꜱ case on a famed auction site. Uh oh. It was in rough shape, but the price was right, and I figured it could be fixed with some 3D printed parts, epoxy, and a dab of Retrobright. I put in the order, and joked about what would cause this component to be lost, broken, refunded, defrauded, or otherwise shot to the Moon.
