I wrote a gigantic screed about the Callaway/Good Good ad but then I deleted it because I do not want to be angry. The gist is that Callaway, a golf equipment brand and manufacturer did a collab with Good Good, a golf YouTube channel and the brand it became, and the ad promoting the collab (a Good Good x Callaway Driver) had what I can only describe as big domestic violence energy. You can Google around and read about it if you want to, but it's just more chapters of the same story, which is that it really does feel like the bad guys will always win because they almost always do. I don't actually think this, by which I mean yes, I absolutely think but but I cannot actually go through life acting like I think this, because that would be no life at all. Resisting cynicism in this moment feels like a Herculean task but you gotta do it. Because hell exists on earth, and every day you've gotta be like Ricky Roma and choose not to live in it. 🌲 gonna 🌼 go 🌱 touch rage against the 🌳 grass…
