A week away

Hey there This is the week that the wife and the daughter left town. I didn’t have the greatest send-off. I went out to give Ara a hug and a kiss, but she only gave me a side hug before pushing me away and running to her friends. Love it. Who knew? I figured a ‘daddy’s girl’ would want to… maybe say goodbye since she wouldn’t be seeing me for a week? I guess not. I spent the week with the boys! We had a busy week. I took the kids to VBS (which was scheduled for all 5 evenings); however, they only attended 3 due to listening issues and refusal to participate. This includes being very loud and disrespectful during work calls, and making a mess while refusing to clean it up. What can you do? Feel like you are going crazy. At least that’s what I did. I did get Elijah’s old room fully cleaned out, cleaned the carpets, and even went as far as to paint the entire room (since there was a lot of damage from when he and Luca were in the room).
