Maybe A Patient Patient

I may not have the guts to share this, but I now have an…inconvenient medical condition. At first it was a “watch and wait” issue, but now it's a “need to see a doctor” one. Thankfully it's not cancer, but it could become an ER situation. For now I’m playing the waiting game. Who has time to be patient? The good news…Progress. A couple weeks ago I finally got what I considered my prompt to call my doctor and get checked out. I got blood work done and had an ultrasound. I just wish I had more details. After a few business days, I called my doctor’s office and found that he had not yet reviewed the results, nor had the office sent them to my referral surgeon yet. The results should be sent over soon; I plan to call the surgeon in a couple of days to confirm that. The bad news…The Waiting Game. I’m still three weeks out from first consultation with the surgeon. My hope is that I’ll get taken care of sooner rather than later. After waiting a while before finally starting this whole…
