1 Goal to know Me

Part of the User Manual Series where I give some brief overviews of the media, experiences, thoughts that help make me...me. Released hourly on my 32nd birthday. In 4th year of school we had to write an essay. It was to be a continuation of a story that we had read in class. I don't remember what the story was but I recall writing a story that focused on the failure of the character to grow beyond his abusive family. He had passed by a refinery every day, hoping to do something more but as his time ran out the option to give in became more enticing. There was an image of a single white rose among an ocean of red that I still remember writing about. I was really nervous to read it out and I struggled to get through it. I'm sure it wasn't anything special but the teacher really praised it.
