End of the Summer Game Challenge 2026

At the end of May I made a list of 12 games and decided that I should complete at least 5 of them. Here is what happened… 5/12 completed! The minimum requirements of the challenge were met. To be honest, I’m content with having completed the challenges, but I could have given myself something harder to do. 1CC for Crimzon Clover World EXplosion On the evening of June 13th, I took another run at Crimzon Clover World EXplosion (Novice Original, Z-Type). I didn’t get the 1CC, but I was so close. Close enough that with great confidence I went to bed positive that the following day I would 1CC the game. And, finally, on June 14th I did it! For those that don’t know, Crimzon Clover World EXplosion is doujin game (a Japanese independent game) dating all the way back to 2011. Since then, it has been released everywhere and is one of the most recommended shoot-‘em-up games for new players. That is how it wound up in my collection.
