Diary #843 0 ▲ The Honest Courtesan 1 hour ago · Life · hide · 0 comments We didn’t have a bumper crop of plums this year, but the ones we got are plump and juicy. I made a plum pie, and though Jae loves plum pastries I find them more tart than I care for. I do like plum bread, though, and plum sauce, so I think I’ll make some this week. The tomatoes are just about big enough to make fried green tomatoes; this year I bought only two of a cherry-tomato variety and four of a table-tomato variety, but the former grew so quickly and so large they’ve really overwhelmed the latter, so next year I’m only going to buy one and plant it in a separate planter so the table-tomato plants have more room to grow. I’ve never had a green thumb and I don’t particularly like digging in the dirt, so my gardening is limited to plants I can basically ignore other than ensuring they get enough water. And that typically works out just fine for me. No comments yet. Log in to reply on the Fediverse. Comments will appear here.
