This quite often differs from the headquarters of the publisher. Less commonly, it differs from the residence or birthplace of the primary author. In this case, we have a game in Japanese, released only in Japan, for which the game materials mention only a Japanese company. And yet, I happen to know from previous experience that the named authors, John and Patty Bell, are Americans.
