Coffee Journey & Bake, Takadanobaba

Coffee Journey & Bake is a cozy little cafe only a 2 minute walk from Takadanobaba station. The Japanese name is 地球を旅するCAFE or “the cafe travelling around the world” which sounds a little cuter. They had some really cute art nooks on the wall. This one’s a brief post - I met up with a friend for the first time here so I was more focused on getting to know her than the coffee. But it was pretty decent. And they had carrot cake (600 yen) as well, which I love. My friend mentioned that it’s actually quite hard to find a cafe with a vibe like this in this area - it sounds like its more full of Dotours (a cheap coffee chain) and the like. A recent Google review seems to back this up as being a cafe with a very “un-Takadanobaba-like atmosphere”. I’ll have to come back another time!Thanks for following my RSS feed!
