In my youth I picked up the skill of moving my feet to hit arrows on the ground in time to music, both for fun and for exercise. It has been many years since I did so, but guess what? You are never too old to show your ultimate dance. Are You Ready? Dance Dance Revolution has had a very positive place in my life. I probably first learned about it back in an arcade somewhere (remember going to arcades to play video games?), watching someone absolutely wreck some really hard song that I still couldn’t beat today. The pulsing beats, the flashing lights…it stood out in a room full of distractions. At first, you’re a noob, and you do easy songs because the whole thing is novel and you’re getting the hang of it. Then, if you keep at it, you start to build muscle memory about how to move, and you can anticipate steps better because you’ve played songs many times.
