Late weeknotes this week due to getting back late last night from a weekend away to Nafpaktos, a town on the Corinthian gulf 2.5hrs west of athens. What a trip that was! An important birthday to be celebrated (not mine) so four of us booked an airbnb in a rural spot next to the picturesque little village of monastiraki along the coast for a couple of nights. We drove up on friday, and opted to take the slower ferry rather than the spectacular 2380 metre long Rio–Antirrio Bridge as it was half price (€8) and we were in no hurry. Great views.
