When I started to study art history, I had a feeling that I may no longer spend as much time reading about and experimenting with technology. This has turned out to be true in many senses: I have spent countless hours reading textbooks and literary texts, and writing essays. I forgot how much I enjoyed writing essays.This year I have spent a lot of time thinking about art. I have spent many weekends in art galleries, a kind of building that has a magnetism comparable to that I used to feel writing code. Except unlike software, art makes me stop and look and listen. When I study art, I am not trying to make anything. I am following my curiosities. I am letting my imagination run wild. I enjoy coming up with questions about what I see and sitting with them, without the obligation of trying to immediately find an answer.
