ESNG meeting – 23 August

Before we return to the Isle of Man for the last time this year, there’s another club meeting to report. Seven members turned up. The afternoon started and ended with a catastrophe – wires failed in a plug and needed a bit of Atfield TLC, and later, the curry house had closed for a couple of days maintenance. In between, we ran a few trains….. And here’s Brian’s record of the afternoon. Elsewhere, the Bluebell has gone diesel until it rains. Michael took these shots of the borrowed Hastings unit. I remember seeing these thunder through Petts Wood and Orpington in my school days.
