Either Way, Murphy Wins

Tomorrow is my annual check-up at the Retina Clinic. Nothing major, just making sure everything’s still holding up after having my left retina lasered back together 8 years ago. I block off the whole day so my eyes can readjust. They dilate both pupils… and they don’t go lightly! My pupils get so big they overpower my blue irises. I always leave looking like I just co-starred in a horror movie. My arthritic knee has good days and not-so-good days…. and the not-so-good days usually happen when I have plans 🙄 I’m trying to take it easy today so I have enough knee power to walk half-way thru the hospital to the Retina Clinic (and back) tomorrow. But I wanna go somewhere today!!! If I don’t go anywhere… the day will be very long. If I don’t go anywhere… my knee could still give me grief tomorrow. If I do go somewhere… I’ll be happier. If I do go somewhere… maybe my knee will surprise me tomorrow and not act up. Then again, with Murphy’s Law in the mix… it really doesn’t matter which…
