Weeknotes: Hole In The Sky — Week 34, 2026

No lunches this week. I also bruised my ego a little bit. Let’s do better next week, eh? Sat a “surprise” mock Japanese exam. I passed, and lost the most my marks in a section with a type of question I had never seen before. Were I to sit this exam again I would now get a much better score. Went to the second session of leadership training. It went to a new place for such programmes: Looking inwards and at inner personal growth. This is very apt timing and sparked good conversation afterwards, and at least one book loan! Side-quest alert: Made a little NFC reader Chrome Extension for an event at work. NFC readers are mostly a solved problem and the most difficult part was getting the reviews and permissions to ship it. This was fun, I enjoy these little side-quests. I hope it gets some use.
