I decided to listen to all the music I’ve bought

Over the years on Bandcamp I’ve amassed a few hundred digital releases. I’ve purchased vinyl, tapes and merch from there too but they’re for another day. You know how it goes, you find a band, check them out and decided you have to buy it. So I do. A lot of the time after this though I don’t go back to them. Especially the older stuff. It’s nice to own it but it’s way down there at the bottom of my list and when I’m trying to select something, I never think to explore that particular well. So I’ve decided to make a conscious effort to dive to the bottom of that well and see what I was buying a few years back and maybe share them here too. I’m not doing a post about every release. Just things that stand out to me. However, I will start right at the beginning. Apparently the first release I ever bought on my current Bandcamp account is Älä luovuta koskaan by Oksennus. It’s a Finish death metal outfit that leans more into the avant garde style. I can’t remember how I came across it but…
