Nau maiYesterday we took our rest day in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Our rest day was spent in a town just across the border in southern Oregon. Tristan, Gabe, and I left the bus and wandered to Main Street for breakfast, deciding to lean into the food culture of this area and commit to a full strength diner breakfast. We sat in at the Klamath Grill where I ordered the chicken friend steak, with eggs over-easy, hash brown, and biscuits on the side. Tristan and I also shared some French Toast, stuffed with ricotta and Marionberries. Klamath Falls Main Street. Our hotel for the day was right on the edge of Lake Ewauna, just a wee body of water but still possessing a quantity of serenity that we were grateful to have in our proximity. Gabe and I played tennis in the afternoon. There were free public courts in the nearby Moore Park that had some new elements to keep the game interesting.
