Week 2, reflections and updates

Continuing week 2 of jotting down what I’ve been up to and thinking out loud. This is a bit of a brain dump on my blog so it can be shared publicly, while also giving ideas some time to marinate. This week’s focus has really been on interviewing and applying for new jobs, mainly because I am now coming up on exactly three months since leaving my role at Instrumentl. I took the first month to travel, decompress, and rethink what I want to do next. July was mostly spent with family, whether hanging out at home or hosting visitors. It was a period where I allowed myself to completely step away from the screen, so both June and July involved very little computer time. Now that it is August, I’ve kicked things up a notch by working on side projects and applying for roles. I’m back to spending full working days at my desk, implementing features and building out ideas.
