I Understand Why MacStories Returned to X, but Not How It Happened

This is a little outside the kind of thing I normally write about here, but I have been following the discussion around MacStories returning to Twitter/X over the last couple of days, and I kept finding myself thinking about it.Federico Viticci is someone I have followed for years through MacStories. Obviously there is the Apple connection, along with his work around automation, Shortcuts, apps, and more recently AI and coding, but I also have a lot of respect for what he and the MacStories team have managed to build independently on the web. MacStories has been around for well over a decade, has its own membership program, podcasts, newsletters, and a community that exists because the team built something people wanted to keep coming back to.I still enjoy reading MacStories, and nothing about this situation changes the respect I have for the work Federico and the rest of the team do.
